Join us for the 8th Food Allergen Management Symposium (FAMS) from May 18 – May 20, 2027, a three-day event you won’t want to miss, hosted in Melbourne at RACV City Club Melbourne. FAMS 2027 will feature an impressive lineup of experts from the global food allergen management community, offering a platform to share insights, exchange ideas, discuss the latest research, and strengthen professional relationships.
The conference begins with a day of interactive workshops tackling the challenges faced by both consumers living with food allergies and those responsible for providing their food. This opening day is followed by two days of FAMS conference sessions, showcasing the latest developments in allergen management from industry, scientific advances from clinical experts and academia, and updates across the regulatory landscape. The event concludes with an interactive panel discussion focused on shaping key initiatives for the future.
What sets FAMS apart from similar conferences is its diverse gathering of stakeholders. Clinicians, researchers, and professionals from the food industry, healthcare, and hospitality—alongside consumer advocates—come together with a shared goal: supporting individuals living with food allergies.
This conference is for you if you:
- Are a Food Technologist developing products, overseeing labelling, or working in quality assurance
- Work in hospitality procurement or kitchen supervision
- Have a role in food safety enforcement or regulation
